George and David approached us needing a solution to automate their website and move all of their data into one platform. They spent many hours manually creating invoices for their magazine subscriptions on https://bushcraftmagazine.com/ whilst cross referencing customers and suppliers who were attending the annual Bushcraft Show – from a separate website.
We provided them with a WordPress multisite – connecting WooCommerce to Xero for an all in one accounting solution. Their previous data was moved from MailChimp and Shopify into a new ActiveCampaign account which allowed George and David to confidently remarket to their customers and understand exactly what their predicted monthly revenue would be – in less than half the time!
The design was refreshed with bold colours and attractive imagery. The user journey was also improved to encourage upsells at the show such as Glamping Tents, Craft Workshops and Weekend tickets via strong calls to action during the checkout process.
We connected FooEvents to WooCommerce for customers attending the Bushcraft show. This plugin scans unique barcodes via a mobile phone application (with or without internet) so George and David could stay on track with their attendees in the events field with limited connection. Each customer would either show the PDF ticket on their phone or print out a ticket, thus removing the possibility of visitors attending without paying.
The multi-site solution has meant that customers can visit the bushcraft show or magazine website – and purchase tickets or subscriptions through the subdomain shop. Going forward, George and David can keep track of their income in one place and spend their well deserved time on marketing and growing their business; as well spending more time with family!
