Chalet Balthazar Is A Luxury Chalet in the heart of Villars, Switzerland, that has been running for over ten years. David has four beautiful apartments that he rents out all year round and has hundreds of TripAdvisor reviews from happy travellers who have stayed with him.  Most of his bookings are from the UK and French travellers. 

His old website wasn’t performing well in capturing enquiries and was very outdated and not mobile-friendly.

David approached us to overhaul the website and add more powerful features to make managing and taking bookings through the site easier. It was important to showcase how beautiful the apartments are and the amenities available, but he also wanted the site to be an information-rich site to educate potential travellers of what Villars the local town had to offer while making it easy for site visitors to check availability and book their stay directly through the website and capture the data inside his CRM ActiveCampaign

We designed the site to be clean and modern, emphasising the high-quality images and videos; David has of his accommodation and increasing credibility elements like his TripAdvisor reviews. 

We developed the website using WordPress and Elementor so that David can easily make changes to pages and his apartment pages. 

Using Woocommerce and a complimentary booking system, we set up the site to automatically take individual bookings for each apartment. These bookings are then passed into David’s CRM ActiveCampaign to save new customers who receive an automated welcome email series.

The site is also available in English and French using a translation tool, which users can easily control using a location switcher or auto-translated based on the user’s location.
