Mark came to us as he needed a new website to showcase his previous works. This website needed to be his own personal portfolio that he could use to promote familiarity and the discussion of new projects. Our designer felt that navy was a warm yet formal colour that really blended well with Marks personality. Grey and navy were used in sections to make each headshot and the copy stand out as Mark did not have great lengths of copy to read. This feature was also designed as a ‘scroll to fit’ to make the user focus on a new element each time.
As Mark is a public speaker, there are plenty of calls to action to watch the videos of Mark in action. Particularly for this industry; it is important to build trust and reliability via film to understand what Mark is like in front of the camera.
Videos are becoming more popular on website home pages as it easily describes the product or service without the user having to spend time looking for more information. Everyone has their preference to how they process information whether that be from images, videos, text or FAQs. We recommend having a video of yourself chatting to the camera. It also encourages a friendly, familiar face to put to the front of business.
