Website Tune Up
Your website doesn’t need replacing. It needs a good service.
If your site is slow, cluttered with old plugins, plagued by errors, or just not pulling its weight as a marketing tool, a full rebuild is rarely the answer. It’s expensive, disruptive, and usually solves the wrong problem.
Unlock the Potential of Your Website!
A Website Tune-Up takes what you’ve already got, strips out what’s holding it back, fixes what’s broken, and rebuilds the parts that need it. You end up with a faster, cleaner, more effective website without the cost or six-month timeline of starting over.
How does a Tune-Up differ from a rebuild?
A rebuild starts from a blank canvas. It’s the right call when your site is genuinely beyond saving, your business has changed direction, or the platform itself is the problem.
A Tune-Up starts from what you’ve already got. We keep the foundations that are working, replace the parts that aren’t, and bring everything up to a standard where the site can actually do its job. Most of the businesses we speak to don’t need a rebuild. They need someone to roll their sleeves up and make the existing site work properly.
Think of it like servicing a car versus buying a new one. If the engine’s sound, you don’t need a replacement. You need an expert mechanic to put it right.
How it works
We audit your website
A full review across speed, SEO, design, plugins, integrations, security, conversions, and content. Nothing gets glossed over.
We agree the priorities
You get a written list of everything we’d recommend, ranked by impact. The urgent and high-value work becomes a fixed-cost project so you know exactly what you’re paying.
We do the work, then keep improving it
The fixed-cost project gets delivered cleanly and quickly. Anything non-urgent can be rolled onto an optional monthly plan, so the site keeps getting better without another big bill landing all at once.
What’s typically included
A Tune-Up is shaped around what your site actually needs, but the work usually covers:
- Plugin audit and cleanup to remove bloat, replace risky plugins, and consolidate where it makes sense
- Replacing old, outdated themes with flexible setups that won’t break every time WordPress updates
- Speed optimisation to get load times down so visitors stay and Google rewards you
- Security and updates to bring everything current and protected
- SEO basics check so the foundations are right and your content can rank
- Conversion and UX fixes to improve the journeys that turn visitors into enquiries
- Section rebuilds in Elementor to replace tired or awkward areas with cleaner, more flexible designs
- Content tightening to sharpen the words so they actually sell
- Fixing broken integrations so your CRM, forms, and automations talk to the website properly
You don’t need to know which of these you need. That’s what the audit is for.
How a Website Tune-Up is priced?
We don’t quote until we’ve audited. It wouldn’t be honest to.
Once the audit is done, we agree a priority list with you and quote the urgent and high-impact work as a fixed-cost project. You know exactly what you’re paying and exactly what you’re getting.
The rest, the longer-term improvements, go onto a monthly plan so your website keeps getting better over time without another big bill landing all at once.
The result: a better site, more adaptable, ready to do real marketing work, without the cost or upheaval of a full rebuild.
A Tune-Up is probably the right call if:
- Your website looks fine but isn’t generating enough leads
- It’s slow, and you know it’s costing you visitors
- Plugins keep breaking, or you’re nervous about updates
- Your CRM and website don’t talk to each other properly
- You’ve got the bones of a good site, but it’s been neglected
- You’ve been quoted thousands for a rebuild and your gut says it’s overkill
You probably need a rebuild instead if:
- Your business has fundamentally changed direction
- The site was built on a platform that genuinely can’t do what you now need
- The structure is so tangled that fixing it would cost more than starting again
If you’re not sure which camp you’re in, that’s exactly what the free audit is for. We’ll tell you straight.
Tune Up Case studies
Here are a few examples of sites we've cleaned up rather than fully rebuilt. Faster, more cost effective, and better results all round.
Pure Office Solutions
A 200-page website built on an old, unwieldy WordPress setup that had become genuinely hard to manage.
Critical errors were appearing, the site was slow, and search rankings had dropped. Rather than scrap 200 pages of content and rebuild from scratch, we audited the site, prioritised the issues, and brought it back to health.
Cleaner system, faster load times, errors resolved, and rankings recovered without the disruption or cost of starting again.
Manuka Kitchen
A site built on an old, hard-coded theme that broke every time it was updated and was a nightmare to edit.
The content was sound, and the brand was working, so a full rebuild would have thrown out a lot of value. We rebuilt the awkward sections in Elementor, replaced the rigid theme structure with something flexible, and gave them a site they can actually update themselves without holding their breath every time WordPress pushes a new version.

Tune Up Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a Tune-Up take?
The audit takes around a week. The fixed-cost project usually runs between two and six weeks depending on scope. We’ll give you a clear timeline before any work starts.
Will my site go down while you’re working on it?
No. We work on a staging copy of your site so the live version stays up and untouched. Changes only go live once you’ve approved them.
Do we need to be on Elementor already?
No. If you’re on a different page builder or a hard-coded theme, we’ll assess whether moving to Elementor makes sense for the Tune-Up. Sometimes it’s the right call, sometimes it isn’t. We’ll be honest either way.
What if our site is on really old WordPress, or full of errors?
That’s often exactly when a Tune-Up makes the most sense. We’ve taken on sites with hundreds of pages, critical errors, and years of neglect, and brought them back to health without a full rebuild.
Can you work with our existing developer or agency?
Yes. We do a lot of white label and collaborative work. If you’ve got someone in-house or a relationship you want to keep, we’ll fit around it.
What happens after the project? Are we tied in?
The monthly plan is optional, and you’re not locked in. Most clients stay because the site keeps improving, but if you want to stop or pause, you can.
What do you need from us to get started?
Access to your website and hosting, ideally a quick conversation about your business goals, and that’s about it. We handle the rest.
Is the audit really free?
Yes. You get a written priority list of recommendations whether you go on to work with us or not. If you want to take it to someone else, that’s fine too.
