WS10 came to us for event venue website design that could carry two very different venues under one roof. WS10 in Wednesbury seats up to 340 guests, and its sister venue ICB in Wolverhampton takes up to 1,300. Both are privately owned and run by the same family, and both host weddings, private parties, conferences and trade shows across the Black Country.
The old site was quietly working against them. It was poorly set up, hard to navigate, and it gave visitors no obvious way to get in touch. There was no lead capture worth the name, no SEO foundation underneath it, and very little chance of anyone searching for a wedding venue in Wednesbury finding the place at all. WS10 had also just been refurbished, but nobody browsing the old site would have known it.
So we took it back to the studs with a full website redesign, rebuilt around the way people actually choose a venue. Visitors pick their event type first, weddings, private parties or business events, and everything after that is shaped by the choice they made. Capacity, facilities and the new large-format LED display are set out plainly, and every route ends in an enquiry or a show around booking. You can see the finished site at ws10.co.uk.
Booking a venue is a considered purchase, often the biggest single line on a wedding or conference budget, and nobody commits from a phone screen in thirty seconds. What the site has to do is answer the practical questions early, capacity, catering, parking, layout, then make the enquiry feel like the natural next step rather than a leap. That is the whole job of a lead generation website, and it matters more here than almost anywhere, because getting the order wrong loses people at exactly the moment they were ready to talk.
There was a second problem worth solving. WS10 and ICB were competing with each other for the same searches. By presenting them as a pair rather than as rivals, an enquiry that is too large for one venue now gets passed straight to the other, instead of leaving the group entirely.
