Manuka Kitchen is a much-loved European bistro on Fulham Road, serving brunch, lunch and dinner to SW6 since 2012. With just 24 seats and an open kitchen, it has built a loyal local following on the strength of the food alone. What it needed from us was a restaurant website design that could turn that reputation into reservations.
The old site looked the part, but it was not built around how people actually search. Diners hunting for brunch in Fulham, a set lunch, or a proper bistro nearby were landing on a homepage that asked them to do the digging. Key pages were buried, the structure worked against Google, and a steady stream of local searches was going to competitors instead.
We kept what was working and rebuilt the rest around real search demand. Dedicated pages for brunch, lunch, dinner and the bistro itself now answer the exact searches Fulham diners are making, the design guides every visitor towards booking a table, and a focused blogging plan keeps the site fresh and relevant. You can see the finished site at manukakitchen.co.uk.
A restaurant lives or dies by its tables, and for an independent in a competitive postcode, being found first matters almost as much as the food. This project shows how a sharper site structure and the right content can turn a casual local search into a fully booked Saturday night.
The new site turned local search into a fuller restaurant.
